In a press release, Paramount Digital Entertainment have today confirmed that they will be releasing a Star Trek game for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
The game will follow on from the 2009 J.J. Abrams film, and will be a completely original story written by BAFTA award winner Marianne Krawczyk, in collaboration with the Star Trek film writer Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman. The co-op gameplay between Kirk and Spock will also feel very new and original, as they try to stop a so far unspecified legendary enemy race from conquering the galaxy.

The game is under development by Digital Extremes and Bad Robot.
Due to be released Summer 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
